I can’t fault this paper for what I`m using it for and some might say it’s on the expensive side but just look at the Ilford papers and prices and I believe Canon Papers are right up there with them. Now of course it all depends to the person you are taking images of but you get the point. For some reason “we all have our own” but I thinks B&W`s are more suited for this glossy tone especially when I use PS to finish with a slightly softer finish. These digital presses use laser or inkjet technology. The second thing and in my mind the most important, is the quality of the paper and I use it for Black & White Portraits. Large scale, commercial digital printers work much like the printer you might have at home. So now I can just bring them two examples of frames with sample images.
Most customers I deal with prefer this size as it is often within their price range as compared to say A2 and upwards. I bought this paper with two things in mind and that was to show buyers what A3+ was against A3.Īs a photographer and when I`m asked to do portraits, I always get that question and it’s hard for a customer to visualize it even when you have told them the dimensions.
